ALLAH’s MIRACLES

He was driving home for a lunch break when suddenly everything went dark. The surrounding noises suggested him that he is still in the traffic and on the road. But what a shock, he could not see.
He was a doctor and used to do his private practice for 9 a.m to 1 p.m and then 3 p.m to 8 p.m. That day was also usual for him and he was coming back to his house for the routine Lunch break between 1 p.m and 3 p.m. When this happened, it was almost 1.30 p.m.
There were not many choices left for him but to stop the Car then and there and call for help. Those were the days when there were no cell phones. But being a Hunter and a good football player of his time, he had developed instincts. It was very common for him to take risk. So, he decided the unusual. Using his instincts and with the help of surrounding noises, he kept driving and reached the gate of the Eye hospital, which was about 1 ½ kilometers ahead and where his daughter was also an employee. He stopped on the gate and asked the guard to call his daughter. He by reaching the gate of the hospital by using only his instincts and having no eyesight had already achieved an impossible. During this journey he crossed a railway level-crossing, three main road crossings on which there were double roads having traffic signals and it was peak hours of Traffic. He had actually achieved an impossible mile stone. This man was my father, who was a homeopath doctor with a standing of over 50 years period at the time of the incident his age was 84 year.
My sister came running out and on learning as to what has happened, drove the vehicle in. The entire eye specialists were available, as it was still office hours. So, my father was examined by the best available Eye specialists. Different testes were performed but they failed to find the cause of the sudden loss of the eye sight.
At that time I was posted at Multan and this all was happening at Quetta in my absence. I was summoned and informed that my presence was urgently required. The very next day I reached.
After learning as to what has happened, I took my father to the Combined Military Hospital Quetta. There also, they could not diagnose. Then I took him to Luther Eye hospital, where Dr. Luther, the very famous Eye Specialist of the country of that time, examined him. He also failed. This was the time that I decided to take him to Karachi where good Eye Specialists were available.
Even at Karachi, doctors were unable to detect the cause of the loss of eyesight. So, I brought him back to Quetta.
During the evening, I was sitting with my father, wondering what to do. I was discussing with him as to what could be the possible cause of his loss of eye sight. I asked him that with all his experience of medical practice of over fifty years, what he thinks as to what has gone wrong but, he could not put a finger on any cause.
I am the only son of my parents, and I have five sisters. At that time my mother was not alive and I have four kids of my own and I was living with my wife and kids at Multan. Hence at Quetta, my father was living with two of my younger sisters, who were unmarried. Three were married earlier and living with their families. So, virtually my father was looking after the house.
At that time, I went to my father’s library and took out few books on medicines and medical science. I started reading these books. I did not sleep the whole night one; that I could not due to the issue of my father and the agony he was going through and secondly; I was desperate and kept reading the books just to find something which shall help my father. During the process I kept praying for ALLAH help. I continued the next day and night. On the third morning, after passing three sleepless nights, I was able to shortlist six medicines, which, to my mind, could be of help to my father.
I then sat with my father and one by one started telling him about the medicines. On announcement of the name of the medicine, my father used to tell me the qualities of that very medicine and its usage. By the end of the day, I was able to reach to a medicine which to my mind could help my father but, he told me that it is not used for the cure of Eyesight.
I then discussed with him the qualities of the medicine, as I have also been doing the whole day about the other medicines. I told him that I am very positive about this particular medicine that it will work as I read it in its characteristics that it works on the motor system part of the Brain and that, I had my views that there is some blood clot, which is struck in the motor system of the brain and causing the eyesight loss. He however, due to reasons, medicine also rejected that.
I then asked him whether there are any side effects or adverse effects of that particular medicine. To which he said there are none. Then I asked him to try at least one dose for my satisfaction. He gave a big laugh but agreed. I administer the medicine dose to him.
Next morning I awoke with the loud cries of my sister. She was calling us loudly and I, being sleepless for three nights, was unable to make out as to what is the matter and got alarmed and rushed to where she was.
She was standing outside in the grassy lawn where my father was also sitting and was going through that day’s newspaper. She was so exited after seeing that miracle that she was crying loudly with joy and tears were coming out of her eyes. We all joined her tears of joy.
My father, after having breakfast went to sleep. He slept for almost 48 hours. I kept visiting him during his sleep and told others not to disturb him. Though I was myself quite worried as to why be him sleeping so much and he even did not got up for food & drink. The third day he got out of his deep slumber and joined us.
I asked him worriedly as to what was the matter which made him sleep so long. He said “Son, from the day I lost my eyesight, I never slept”.
This I consider as the miracle of ALLAH which happened in response to our sincere prayers which we did by bowing in front of HIM and crying and asking help by the core of our heart.
            ALLAH IS ALMIGHTY.
